How does a project work, from the first conversation to launch?
Everything starts with a discussion to understand your business and your needs. I then prepare a clear proposal and quote. Once approved, I create an initial mock-up to define the visual direction, followed by the full design based on your feedback, and finally the website itself. You’ll validate each major step along the way, so there are no surprises.
How much does a website cost?
Every project is different, so pricing depends on the number of pages, features and your specific requirements. A simple website typically starts at around €1,200, while a custom website generally ranges between €2,500 and €4,000. I also adapt to the realities of different organisations, including charities and smaller budgets. The best approach is always to discuss your project and receive a tailored quote.
How long does it take to create my website?
It depends on the size of the project, but most websites take between two and six weeks. The timeline also depends heavily on how quickly content and feedback are provided. We’ll agree on a realistic schedule from the outset.
Once the website is live, who takes care of it?
A website needs ongoing maintenance to remain fast, secure and up to date. I offer maintenance plans starting from €29 per month, covering updates, backups, security and minor changes. You won’t have to worry about a thing.
Do I need to manage the hosting and domain name myself?
No. I can take care of everything for you, including hosting, domain registration and technical setup. No technical knowledge is required. If you already have a domain name or hosting provider, I can work with your existing setup as well.
Will I be able to update the website myself afterwards?
Absolutely. It’s important to me that you remain in control of your website. I build websites using tools that are easy to use, and I’ll show you how to manage your content. Training or documentation can also be provided if needed.
Do you work in multiple languages and remotely?
Yes. I create websites in English, French and German, which is particularly useful in Strasbourg and across the Rhine region. I work both locally and remotely, with clients throughout France and internationally.
Do I need to provide the text and images?
If you already have content, that’s great — the project can move forward more quickly. I can also adapt and optimise your existing images for the web, including cropping, basic editing and formatting.
For more advanced needs such as professional photography, visual identity or graphic design, I work with trusted partners whom I can coordinate on your behalf. These services are quoted separately and discussed during the proposal stage.
